DeadLock ransomware uses Polygon smart contracts to rotate proxy addresses, making extortion infrastructure censorship-resistant. The group has claimed 96 victims, mostly in Italy, Spain, Poland, Türkiye, and the U.S. It encrypts files with the ".dlock" extension and uses Session messaging for victim contact.
