PhonePe Insurance Broking Services CEO Vishal Gupta resigned to found a new stealth startup. Gupta joined PhonePe in 2016 and led the insurance vertical since November 2023. This is the third leadership exit at PhonePe subsidiaries in two months, as the company deferred its IPO plans citing market instability.
