World's First Battery-Powered Bulk Carrier Delivered

CSL and Adbri delivered MV Yampu, the world's first battery-powered self-unloading bulk carrier, on June 5, 2026. The 11,000 deadweight tonne limestone carrier will cut diesel use by 25% and Scope 1 emissions by 40%. By 2031, it will run fully on electric power, reducing emissions over 90%.
