NYC Debuts 17 Solar-Powered Public Toilets

New York City has begun installing 17 solar-powered automated public toilets as part of a $4 million pilot program. Two are already operational, with the rest arriving soon. Each toilet has a 10-minute time limit before the door opens automatically.
