Isar Aerospace successfully launched its two-stage Spectrum rocket into low-Earth orbit from Andøya Spaceport in Norway, becoming Europe's first fully commercial orbital launch. The German company, founded in 2018, raised roughly $1 billion and employs nearly 500 people. CEO Daniel Metzler called it a new chapter for European spaceflight.
