ByteDance's Seedance 2.0 debuts 95-minute AI film at Cannes

ByteDance's cloud platform Volcengine premiered Hell Grind, a 95-minute AI-generated feature film, at the 79th Cannes Film Festival using the Seedance 2.0 model. The US-based company Higgsfield produced the film, which was completed by a 15-person team. Seedance 2.0 overcomes the technical bottleneck of long-form video generation, which typically limits AI tools to 15-30 second clips.
