On October 8, 2026, the Delhi High Court granted interim protection against deepfakes and false quotes for BJP MP Kangana Ranaut. Justice Vikas Mahajan ordered Meta to remove infringing content within 72 hours and directed MeitY and DoT to block specified websites.
