Boisy Petre built a standalone BASIC compiler called basic09c that uses LLVM as a library. The compiler targets Microware BASIC09, a structured BASIC for the OS-9 operating system. BASIC09 supports named procedures, local variables, IF...THEN...ELSE constructs, and user-defined variable types without line numbers.
