Android 17 adds native LHDC audio support to Pixels

Android 17 silently added native support for the Low Latency High-Definition Audio Codec (LHDC v5) on Google Pixels, expanding high-bitrate options beyond Sony's LDAC. Users can stream 96kHz high-resolution audio to compatible hardware. Savitech confirmed future Android 17 devices from Samsung, Xiaomi, and others will also support LHDC seamlessly.
