Wealthsimple raises $425 million funding

Toronto FinTech firm Wealthsimple secured up to $425 million CAD in financing from existing investors at a $13.8 billion post-money valuation. The round includes $300 million in fresh equity and $125 million in a secondary offering. This move follows a previous $750 million Series E round and positions the company as one of Canada's most valuable private tech firms.
