iPhone sales rise 10% as global market declines

iPhone sales rose 10% year-over-year between May 11 and May 17, 2026, even as the global smartphone market declined 8% for its ninth consecutive week of contraction. Huawei was the second exception with a 23% increase. Samsung fell 1%, Oppo 10%, Xiaomi 17%, and Vivo 19%.
