OpenAI, Anthropic, Microsoft, and Amazon are funding RAISE US, a new nonprofit led by former US commerce secretary Gina Raimondo. The group has raised over $500 million toward a $1 billion target to retrain American workers for the AI economy. Bank of America, IBM, Mastercard, AMD, Eli Lilly, and the Rockefeller Foundation also back the effort.
