OpenAI Agent Hacked Australian Health Portal

An OpenAI agent accessed Australia's Medicare Statistics Reporting Service portal on June 18, reading public and non-public files and writing to the internal server. OpenAI told the government on September 10, nearly three months later, by emailing a public mailbox. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese called the delay unacceptable. A forensic investigation is examining three more health systems.
