Infini-AI-Lab Releases Open-Source Hermit Framework

Infini-AI-Lab released Hermit, an open-source harness adapter framework for AI agents, on October 25, 2026. The first version, v0.1.0, allows developers to adapt agents without fine-tuning. Postdoc Haizhong Zheng announced the launch on X on October 27. The tool supports five evolution methods including GEPA and MWM, achieving 0.795 accuracy on CL-Bench database exploration versus a 0.580 baseline.
