Satlyt, founded by former Google and SpaceX product manager Rama Afullo, raised an $8 million seed round led by Non Sibi Ventures. Its software launches Thursday on a SpaceX rocket alongside Google's Project Suncatcher prototype, running AI models on satellites to cut costly downlink data. NASA and Stellerian are customers on the TakeMe2Space mission.
