Yuri Zaporozhets of QRV Systems built a new RISC-V-based personal computer called the GateMate PC, a mainframe on an FPGA, and rewrote QNX twice. The GateMate PC uses a 25 MHz RISC-V core on a €50 Olimex GateMate FPGA board and runs its own OS, GMDOS.
