Bentley Torcal EV Uses Drums for Soundtrack

Bentley's first electric vehicle, the Torcal SUV, will use a soundtrack called "Bentley Dynamic Symphony" performed by musicians on drums, viola, and bass guitar instead of synthetic engine noise. The sound responds to throttle inputs, aiming to evoke the emotional character of the brand's V8 without replicating it. The Torcal debuts September 23 in London.
