Pollen builds battery-swap network for electric motorcycles

Lisbon startup Pollen launched a universal battery-swapping network for electric mopeds and motorcycles. Its ECS technology lets a single battery power different makes without redesign. Three stations operate at Galp service stations in Lisbon, with swapping taking seconds. The batteries are designed for 1,200 charge cycles and can be reused for stationary energy storage.
