PwC found UK AI specialist hiring rose 61 percent to 180,000 roles in 2025, even as overall vacancies fell 6.6 percent. AI user roles grew by 66,000 positions, while developer roles added only 2,600. Jobs requiring AI skills now command a 34.2 percent wage premium.
