UK Banks Face Crypto Transfer Complaints

Stand With Crypto reports 9,803 people submitted 10,092 complaints to UK banks regarding crypto transfer restrictions between May and August 2026. Lloyds Banking Group received 2,297 complaints, while Barclays received 1,569. Barclays and HSBC UK limit transfers to 2,500 British pounds per transaction, whereas six banks including Starling Bank ban crypto-related transfers entirely.
