Researchers from TU Graz and A-SIT published a study at ESORICS 2026 revealing critical vulnerabilities in data migration tools from seven Android manufacturers. The team found that attackers within 20 to 45 meters could steal sensitive data like photos and passwords using equipment costing less than 100 euros.
