AI Agent Breaches Dutch Security Nonprofit DIVD

The Dutch Institute for Vulnerability Disclosure was breached by an autonomous AI agent, its first hack in seven years. The attacker exploited an undisclosed technical vulnerability, then let the agent run post-exploitation tasks. DIVD called the attack loud and messy, and alerted police, the data protection authority and the National Cyber Security Center. A detailed update is promised for October 1.
