Ace Combat 8 Dev Apologises for Belkan War Pre-Order

Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve early access began with backlash over its pre-order bonus, Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War. Players who paid £75/$90 for the Deluxe edition found The Belkan War is not standalone on Steam, unlike consoles, due to licensing and platform restrictions. The developer apologised, said it is evaluating solutions, and Steam reviews recovered from Mixed to Mostly Positive ahead of the 2nd October launch.
