Google Launches Gemini 3.8 Text-to-Speech Models

Google released Gemini 3.8 Flash TTS and Flash-Lite TTS, letting users create custom voices from prompts or replicate voices from a 30-second sample. The models support over 100 languages and 2,000+ voices, and are available in Google AI Studio, Gemini API, Gemini Enterprise, Gemini Notebook, and Google Vids. SynthID watermarking and consent verification are built in.
