Huawei's Ascend 950 SuperPoD won a 2026 World Internet Conference Leading Technology Award on November 2. The ceremony in Wuzhen selected 20 projects from over 430 entries across 43 countries. Zhang Dixuan, president of Huawei's Ascend Computing business, stated that supernodes are now an industry consensus for AI infrastructure.
