A Tesla Semi caught fire on Interstate 880 in Hayward, California, on Tuesday evening without a crash, closing the freeway for about 10 hours. The driver escaped unhurt, and CHP Hayward reopened all lanes at around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday after crews beat the initial 15 to 18 hour estimate.
