China to Set AI Robot Data Standards

China's National Data Administration announced it will develop standards for embodied AI data and guide local authorities. This follows a September 10 meeting chaired by agency head Liu Liehong with research institutes and tech companies. The decision came ten days after seven companies requested public data infrastructure and common standards for training humanoid robots, which require an estimated 10 million hours of real-world data.
