Apple is developing a 6-inch square smart home hub with an A18 chip and at least 8GB RAM, running an OS internally called Charismatic, possibly homeOS. Two versions are planned: a wall-mounted model and a countertop version with an iMac G4-style speaker base. It may debut October 13 alongside a new Apple TV 4K and HomePod mini, priced around $350.
