SkyPilot raises $20M seed led by Lux

SkyPilot, cofounded by Databricks cofounder Ion Stoica and Zongheng Yang, launched with a $20 million seed round led by Lux Capital, with Coatue and Amplify Partners participating. The startup's platform lets companies use any cloud or GPU provider interchangeably, aiming to cut costs and boost utilization. Yang says SkyPilot frequently helps customers squeeze out more than 10% utilization from GPUs they already own.
