BYD leads China NEV market in May, Tesla returns to top five

BYD held 21.8% of China's passenger NEV market in May with 207,372 retail sales, maintaining the top spot. Tesla returned to the top five with 47,281 units, a 22.5% year-on-year increase. Geely ranked second at 11.5% share, followed by Changan and Leapmotor.
