CSS Gains Shape, Border-Shape, Corner-Shape

New CSS features, including the shape() function plus border-shape and corner-shape properties, let developers draw non-rectangular page borders natively, ending the web's 30-year reliance on boxes. All major browsers now support shape(); border-shape and corner-shape remain experimental, though current Chrome, Edge and Opera releases support them. Developers can now build fluid layouts without SVG or JavaScript workarounds.
