Researchers at Huazhong University of Science and Technology and the University of Pisa built p-type transistors from monolayer tungsten diselenide (WSe₂). Published in Nature Electronics, the devices are among the best-performing p-type MOSFETs based on 2D semiconductors. The work addresses a gap where p-type transistors lag behind n-type in 2D materials.
