F-Droid released version 2.0, its largest update in 10 years, after 14 test releases. The free and open source Android app store rebuilt its interface in Kotlin Compose, adding expanded categories, description search, CJK support and combined filters. A unified installer uses Android's new pre-approval API, enabled by the EU's Digital Markets Act, to speed installs. Rollout continues over coming weeks.
