AI optimism drops as chatbot use rises to 49%

Pew Research Center found that 49% of US adults now use chatbots, up from 33% two years ago, yet only 16% believe AI will benefit society. Roughly one in four users engage with chatbots daily. Fifty-one percent of adults do not use chatbots, mostly those aged 50 and older.
