Android Auto 17.4 fixes a bug causing connections to drop or freeze every few minutes on some phones and car head units, affecting wired and wireless modes. Updates 17.2 and 17.3 failed to resolve it. A separate Pixel 10 issue with VW Group cars was fixed via head-unit update.
