Researchers Hack AWS Agents via Prompt

Zenity Labs researchers used a single prompt to take over every AgentCore agent in an AWS region, stealing credentials and private conversations. AWS fixed metadata access in February but left default roles unchanged until September 29, 2026. Zenity raised $125m in August and found malicious skills with 1.7 million installs.
