Cohere launched Embed 5, its most powerful embeddings family, with Pro and Fast variants sharing one embedding space so a corpus indexed with Pro can be queried with Fast. It handles text, images and mixed inputs across 100+ languages, a 128k token context window, and Matryoshka dimensions from 256 to 2048. Available via Cohere's Embed API, Microsoft Foundry, Amazon SageMaker and Model Vault.
