A patched Azure Cosmos DB vulnerability let attackers escape the Gremlin query sandbox, achieve code execution on a multi-tenant gateway, and retrieve a platform-wide signing key to access any customer database. Microsoft blocked the entry point within 48 hours and completed fixes by July 2026.
