Dr. Semiconductor fabricated and bonded transparent LED chips to printed circuit boards as a trial run. The chips start from a gallium nitride (GaN) LED epiwafer with a stacked structure of n-doped GaN and indium. The process tests alignment methods for opaque silicon wafers.
