Russian Hackers Abuse Yggdrasil Mesh Network

Russian-linked group Sandworm and threat actor UAC-0099 executed a destructive data-wiping attack on a Ukrainian logistics company. Initial access occurred on July 16, 2025, via a spear-phishing email. The attack culminated on September 17, 2025, using the MythicRatatoskr backdoor communicating through a Yggdrasil mesh network to wipe data.
