Tata Sons Reappoints Chairman Amid Trust Dispute

Tata Sons' board reappointed N Chandrasekaran as executive chairman for five years in a 4-1 vote. The sole dissent came from Noel Tata, chairman of Tata Trusts, which owns the majority of shares. Tata Trusts has declared the reappointment illegal.
