Cabless autonomous lorry boosts payload capacity

Voltempo is developing a cabless autonomous rigid lorry extending to 15.6m, 42 tonnes, and five axles, up from current 12m and 32-tonne limits. Removing the cab cuts weight, adding five to seven tonnes of payload. Prototype completion is set for September 2027, with production starting late 2027.
