Google DeepMind and Google Research launched WeatherNext 3, its most accurate global AI weather model. It uses real-time satellite data for hourly forecasts at up to 5-kilometer resolution. The model tops Brightband's Operational WeatherBench leaderboard and will power Google Search, Gemini, and Google Maps.
