A new neural network model, WangNet, determines if a number is 'Numberwang'. The entire model is a 1.8 MB JSON file with inference code in about 100 lines of pure Python, requiring only Python 3.8+. It has 80,804 parameters and reads characters directly without a tokenizer. The model achieves 88.9% accuracy on held-out adjudications.
