European sites face four times more AI bot scrapes than North American ones, per TollBit's analysis of 3,906 publishers. Their robots.txt rules get ignored nearly three times more often. The scrape-to-referral ratio worsened from 150:1 to 227:1 between Q1 and Q2 2026.
