MacOS is underrepresented in public AI research datasets. MacPaw Research identifies this gap and introduces GUIrilla, a framework for scalable Mac UI exploration. The framework enables automated browsing of macOS interfaces to generate training data for AI models. GUIrilla supports high-throughput UI navigation and data collection on macOS systems. This addresses a critical data scarcity issue for AI models trained on desktop operating systems. The work provides a method for building more diverse AI training data from native macOS environments.
