Nintendo will pay a $40 million fine for faulty Joy-Cons

France's DGCCRF fined Nintendo of Europe 35 million euros ($40 million) for misleading consumers about Joy-Con stick drift. The authority said Nintendo only acknowledged the issue in 2020, despite knowing earlier. Nintendo agreed to pay and must post a notice on its French website.
