MIT gives robots long-term memory with DAAAM

MIT researchers built DAAAM, a system that attaches language descriptions to 3D maps so robots can remember object locations. A robot can answer natural language queries like "where did I leave my wallet?" by searching its spatial memory. DAAAM answered questions more accurately than current methods in tests.
