Etsy bans AI for product images

Etsy enacts new rules in October requiring at least one unaltered photo of the actual item for sale. While AI can adjust lighting or generate backgrounds, it cannot alter product features, colors, or condition. Sellers must write all instructions and recipes manually, with images showing real finished results.
