Micron showed DDR5-8000 RDIMMs at Computex, doubling current DDR5-6400 speeds. Samsung's MRDIMM Gen2 targets 12,800 MT/sec, a 45% bandwidth increase. AMD's EPYC Venice platform may support MRDIMM Gen2 later this year, offering up to 1.6TB/sec memory bandwidth.
